Jobseekers warned as interview scams drain £18,000 savings

Scammers are targeting people on job listing sites, tricking them into downloading malicious software during fake interview processes. One victim lost £18,000 from their cryptocurrency accounts after downloading a normal-looking document from a fake recruiter on LinkedIn. Cyber-security experts say these new scams are hard to spot because they look like legitimate job interviews.
