The semi-official Tasnim agency reported that the ship's crew is being rescued and nobody was hurt during the Saturday strike. Neither the US military nor government officials in Tehran have formally confirmed the incident at the Gulf anchorage site. Kharg Island is a crucial export hub that shipped roughly 90% of Iranian crude before the current war disrupted trade.
