Iranian adviser claims hundreds of US troops killed in strikes

Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iran's leadership, stated on Monday that nearly 500 American service members died in recent regional attacks. US Central Command records show only 18 US deaths from Jordan and Iraq incidents and earlier operations during the period. Meanwhile, both nations released conflicting statements regarding whether renewed ceasefire negotiations are actually taking place.
