Iran strikes UAE again, defences hold firm

Residents in Abu Dhabi heard multiple explosions as UAE air defences intercepted incoming Iranian drones and ballistic missiles. The UAE Defence Ministry confirmed its systems are actively countering the ongoing threat. Since Iran launched retaliatory strikes across the Gulf in late February, the UAE has detected 189 ballistic missiles and 941 drones, with most intercepted, and three people have been killed.
