Iran Guards claim retaliatory strikes on 21 US bases
Tensions between the US and Iran are rising again, with Iran's Guards claiming they've hit American military bases in the Gulf region. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps declared that its forces conducted assaults on 21 distinct objectives in Bahrain and Jordan, in retaliation for the United States' prior engagement with Iranian facilities. This follows a US helicopter being downed on Monday, which America says was hit by an Iranian drone.
