Iran could lose $435m daily from US action
Iran’s economy could face severe financial pressure, potentially leading to mass protests and internal instability. This follows a US strategy aimed at stopping the majority of Iran’s oil and non-oil exports, largely through the Strait of Hormuz. One estimate suggests this could cost Iran $435 million each day, including $276 million in lost exports.
