Infant dies after dog attack in Monmouthshire home

Police and ambulance crews attended a property in Crossway, Rogiet, Monmouthshire, at 6pm on Sunday after a nine-month-old died in a dog attack. The infant was declared dead at the scene. Officers removed the dog from the address. Gwent Police confirmed that investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made. The incident has reportedly left the local community in shock. Gwent Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
