A teenager from Ilford, east London, has been jailed for four years and two months after being convicted of offering cyber-security help to extremist groups including al-Qaeda. Yusuf Shah was stopped at Heathrow aged 16 in January 2024. Investigators found he had downloaded explosives manuals. Counter-terrorism police said he began being drawn into extremism at 13 and called the case a warning to all parents.
