Iceland supermarket boss tells the Chancellor to cut business taxes for employers
Iceland supermarket boss Lord Richard Walker wants the government to focus less on the cost of living and more on job creation. Writing in the Sun on Sunday, he said the upcoming October Budget must lower both business rates and employers' National Insurance. The former government adviser also used a House of Lords appearance to criticise the state pension triple lock as completely unsustainable.
