IBM chief says rivals may fail on AI
Businesses buying AI projects could face problems if suppliers lack the systems needed to deliver them. Speaking to City AM, IBM Consulting head Mohamad Ali said some firms are agreeing to heavily discounted contracts despite not having the right setup, and warned weaker players may not last. IBM Consulting reported $21.16bn revenue in 2025 and Ali said it holds an 18-month advantage.
