Husband disappointed: Lobular cancer research still needs £20m.
Dr Susan Michaelis, a Horsham advocate for lobular breast cancer patients, would have been disappointed that research funding had not been allocated a year after her death, according to her husband. In 2023, she initiated the Lobular Moon Shot Project, which sought £20m to fund research into this type of cancer. A parliamentary debate will happen in her memory on Thursday, backed by Horsham MP John Milne.
