Humanoid robot beats human half-marathon world record

British workers watching the AI jobs debate got a vivid preview on Sunday. A humanoid robot from Chinese smartphone maker Honor won a half-marathon in Beijing in 50 minutes and 26 seconds. That time beat the human world record of 57 minutes set by Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo in March. Last year's winning robot took two hours and 40 minutes. Honor took the top three places.
