Europe's largest lender, HSBC, reported an annual pre-tax profit of $29.91 billion for 2025 on Wednesday. This figure surpassed the bank's $28.86 billion estimate, with revenue also rising to $68.27 billion, above the $67.36 billion estimate. Fourth-quarter profit before tax increased to $6.8 billion, driven by higher net interest income and one-off gains from disposals.
