How many London boroughs get shoplifting tech now?

Eight more London boroughs, including Croydon, Lambeth and Ealing, gained access to the Metropolitan Police's shoplifting evidence tool from 4 August, taking the total to fourteen. The system lets Tesco, Boots, M&S and Greggs send CCTV and witness statements straight to officers, cutting case-building time from 28 days to minutes. Positive outcomes hit 29.4% in trial boroughs, nearly four times the Met's usual rate.
