How do police turn teen hackers into professionals?
Home visits and university tours divert UK teen hackers from prosecution towards careers, National Crime Agency figures show. Cyber Choices has handled at least 1,150 referrals over eight years, with nearly 600 logged in the last three years alone. PC Sam Cooper said most young people referred are neurodiverse, and one graduate, called Izak, now works legitimately in cyber security in Leicestershire.
