High Court orders Prince Harry and six celebrities to pay £9.5m
The sum is just the first part of a £34m legal bill after the High Court threw out their privacy case in July. The group, which includes Sir Elton John and Baroness Doreen Lawrence, accused the newspaper's publisher of hacking landlines and bugging cars. The publisher always strongly denied the allegations, and the judge ruled that none of the famous figures had proved their claims.
