Hay fever tablets, low iron and dehydration can cause dizziness

Regular dizzy spells can signal problems like low blood pressure, especially for those over 50. Certain medicines, including some hay fever tablets, antidepressants, and sedatives, can also cause light-headedness. If dizziness comes with chest pain, a severe headache, or slurred speech, call 999 right away.
