Hastings Residents Miss Out on Bayeux Tapestry Tickets, MP Says

Bayeux Tapestry, public domain, via Wikimedia Commons

Residents of Hastings missed out on Bayeux Tapestry tickets after hours on hold to a glitchy British Museum phone line, according to their MP Helena Dollimore. Locals had been promised early booking before general sale opened on Wednesday. Dollimore said VIPs and corporate guests had enjoyed far easier access. The museum said demand was exceptionally high and residents can still book in the general sale.
