Hackers steal 1 million Discord user email addresses from security service

Hackers carried out a "deliberate, multi-stage attack" on Double Counter, a third-party security service for Discord. Approximately 1 million user email addresses were compromised during the nearly six-hour incident. Security breach tracking service Have I Been Pwned indicates that 275,000 of these email addresses and usernames have subsequently appeared in public forums.
