GSK cutting back-office jobs to fund £400m Cambridge research campus
The new 300,000 square foot Cambridge site will house more than 1,000 scientists as GSK shifts its research and development base from Stevenage by 2029. Chief executive Luke Miels also plans to double phase-three drug trials from 10 to 20 this year. Back-office and general medicine roles are expected to be cut to help pay for the investment.
