Grey's Anatomy actor Eric Dane dies aged 53

The American performer, famous for roles in Euphoria and Grey's Anatomy, passed away on Thursday afternoon aged 53. He announced an ALS diagnosis in April 2025 and dedicated his last months to generating funds for the condition. His family confirmed he died near his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, and their two children. Former colleagues like Patrick Dempsey have since shared tributes praising his humour.
