Greens vote that Zionism is racism, and Polanski is not even in the hall

Green members in Brighton voted 1,022 to 813 on Sunday to declare Zionism a form of racism and back one democratic Palestinian state. Leader Zack Polanski did not vote, and amendments he favoured were rejected. Four of the party's five MPs had opposed the motion. Jewish groups called it an attack on their community. Israel barred Polanski, and Labour said the vote crosses a line.
