Google may remove free Gemini 'Gems' feature in October

Google might be planning to stop supporting Gemini Gems, a free customisation tool, from October 20. A hidden notice in the Gemini web app suggests users should switch to Gemini Spark Skills instead. However, these Skills are currently only available to paying subscribers, potentially putting the feature behind a paywall.
