Google launches new Gemini AI models, including cyber defence tool

Google DeepMind unveiled two upgraded artificial intelligence models on Wednesday, including Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber, designed for government cybersecurity. Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber is expected to narrow the gap in coding ability where Google has previously lagged behind rivals. The company also introduced Gemini 3.8 Flash, a fast model suitable for daily use across most tasks.
