Google goes to court to fight EU orders to help AI rivals
Google has taken the European Commission to court over orders forcing it to open up to artificial intelligence and search rivals. The orders, due next year, would give rivals such as OpenAI access to Gemini features and search data, which Google says would harm privacy. The Commission said it would defend its decisions, and privacy search engine DuckDuckGo said the appeal only buys Google time.
