GLP-1 weight-loss drugs linked to lower breast cancer risk
A study has found that women taking GLP-1 drugs, the class behind Ozempic and Wegovy, were about 30% less likely to develop breast cancer. Researchers caution the link is observational and does not prove the drugs themselves prevent cancer, as weight loss alone affects risk.
