GLP-1 drugs linked to reduced smell and taste

A new analysis found these patients had an 81% higher rate of smell disturbances and 52% higher rate of taste issues than those on other diabetes meds. Researchers are calling for closer monitoring, though some doctors say the benefits outweigh this potential side effect.
