Global oil prices rise after US and Iran strike each other's ships

Brent crude hit $97.07 per barrel on Monday morning, building on a near 8% price increase from last week. America's military says it struck three Iranian tankers on Saturday, while Iran claims to have targeted six ships in response. The clashes are slowing shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway that normally handles a fifth of global oil.
