Glaucoma drugs could help treat aggressive breast cancer and melanoma

Scientists have found that aggressive cancers like breast cancer and melanoma rely on a molecule called ROCK to spread. Drugs that block this molecule are already used to treat glaucoma, meaning they could potentially be repurposed for cancer. Researchers hope a biopsy of a patient's cancer could show if these existing drugs would work for them.
