Game developers expect AI to be the biggest industry change by 2026

AI-assisted development is forecast to have the largest impact on the gaming industry over the next three years. A Gamescom dev survey of 100 speakers found 83% expect AI to affect team structures or productivity. However, opinions are divided on how AI should be best used, with 30% preferring minimal involvement.
