Frasers Group takes 4.16% stake in Burberry via unusual options move
Billionaire Mike Ashley's sports retail empire now holds a 4.16% position in the fashion house, giving it 15 million voting rights. The business grew its holding from about 3% late last week, leaving it behind only BlackRock and MFS Investment on the ownership list. Shares in the luxury brand jumped by about 5% after the regulatory filing was made public on Tuesday.
