Four Lee-on-the-Solent streets told to keep boiling water after E.coli found

The positive result came from a fire hydrant in Martin Close during routine testing at the weekend. Portsmouth Water, the area's water supplier, says nearby hydrants, homes, treatment works and reservoirs all tested clear, and thinks the sample may have been contaminated from outside. Bottled water is being supplied, with more test results expected on Tuesday, 20 October.
