Former Iranian foreign minister urges Tehran to kidnap US troops

Iranian lawmaker and former foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki called for Iran to attack a US military base in the Middle East, capture American troops and bring them to Iran as hostages. His remarks came as US airstrikes on Iranian targets continued and both sides exchanged military attacks across the region. Mottaki's comments do not represent an official Iranian government policy.
