The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning in place for fog until 10:00 on Friday, covering nine counties including Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Visibility could fall below 100 metres at times, and the fog will be worst during the morning rush hour. Drivers should check road conditions and give themselves extra time, though some rural eastern spots may stay foggy until the afternoon.
