Flydubai co-pilot studied in Australia, didn't finish engineering degree
An Australian university confirmed on Monday that Flydubai co-pilot Hammam al-Hammami studied at its Melbourne campus but did not complete his engineering qualification. Australian federal police and security agencies are investigating his links to the country, including whether he was radicalised there. Al-Hammami, an Omani national, allegedly used a crash axe to attack the pilot on 30 September while 182 people were on an aircraft.
