Flydubai co-pilot began radicalisation in Australia, UAE prosecutors say

UAE prosecutors state the co-pilot who tried to hijack a Flydubai jet last week was radicalised while studying in Australia. Hammam al-Hammami, 29, allegedly adopted extremist views from online content and literature while at RMIT University in Melbourne. He reportedly told prosecutors he was inspired by the 9/11 attacks and trained in boxing for a similar plot.
