Netflix is now streaming Zoe Kazan’s adaptation of John Steinbeck’s 1952 novel East of Eden. Florence Pugh plays Cathy Ames, Christopher Abbott plays Adam Trask and Mike Faist plays Charles Trask. It arrived at the start of October. Kazan is the granddaughter of Elia Kazan, director of the 1955 film.
