FlightAware sues Kalshi alleging data misuse for flight cancellation betting markets

Real-time flight tracker FlightAware is suing prediction market Kalshi, claiming it used FlightAware's data without permission for gambling markets. Kalshi started letting users bet on US flight cancellations about a month ago, allegedly displaying FlightAware's branding and information. FlightAware contends that these markets might be exploited to disrupt flights, creating a safety hazard.
