Film-makers pick 25 essential movies to watch before age 25

Experts and directors have curated a list of screen experiences including The Wizard of Oz and Trainspotting. The Guardian asked industry names for the imaginative and thought-provoking films that young adults should see. Trainspotting producer Andrew Macdonald pointed out that the movie is scheduled to be shown at this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival.
