The FBI Director, Kash Patel, reportedly called off a trip to Chicago scheduled for Friday so he could be present at an unexpected meeting at the White House. He had intended to watch Alexis Wilkins, a country music artist and his girlfriend, sing at a local music festival. The cancellation followed growing frustration from White House officials and congressional scrutiny over Patel's travel and alleged misuse of FBI resources.
