Explosion near the Acropolis in Greece injures at least 2 people and collapses a building

A powerful blast in Athens' historic Plaka district on Friday morning caused a two-story building to collapse and damaged others nearby. Two women from a nearby building were saved by firefighters, and police reported they were subsequently taken to hospital. Local media reported a gas leak is suspected as the cause of the explosion.
