Ex-Sony staffer dismisses PlayStation disc reversal for 2028.
An industry veteran has rubbished recent rumours that PlayStation might reverse its decision on physical game discs. Richard Browne, who worked at Sony, said there was "no talk of Sony changing strategy at Gamescom" and that all publishers are following guidance for discless in 2028. Sony has already begun retraining staff at its disc manufacturing facility.
