Ex-congressman George Santos banned for life from US betting platform
Prediction market Kalshi has permanently banned former US congressman George Santos after accusing him of insider dealing. The company claimed he used private information to place bets in February on his own attendance at a Donald Trump State of the Union address. Kalshi said it issued a fine of $71,356 (£38,000) and referred the case to federal authorities.
