Eurovision winner unable to host next contest if country is at war

Organisers updated rules, meaning if a country in conflict wins, it won't be eligible to host the following year. The alteration also takes effect when a "sensitive geopolitical situation" impacts the state's security. The EBU, which organises Eurovision, will now conduct a security assessment and choose an alternative host if needed.
