Europe could face flight cancellations over jet fuel

Many families may find their summer holiday plans disrupted by coming flight cancellations across Europe. The International Energy Agency head, Fatih Birol, warned on Thursday that Europe might run out of jet fuel within six weeks if current oil supply shortages persist. Jet fuel prices hit $197 a barrel this week, having risen from $100 before the Iran war started in late February.
