EU urges tougher border security following mass arrival in Ceuta

Ursula von der Leyen called for tighter border controls on Monday following a chaotic influx into the Spanish territory of Ceuta last week. Emergency talks involving interior ministers are scheduled for Tuesday to address the crisis. Spain estimates that about 69,500 people have returned to Morocco over the past four days after the sudden arrivals.
