England boss Thomas Tuchel praises Mexican fans ahead of World Cup match
England's head coach Thomas Tuchel said the welcome in Mexico has been “nicer than I expected”, despite enhanced security for their World Cup last-16 match. He added that the home fans were “friendly and respectful” even with mixed reactions during training. Tuchel also noted the squad feels Mexico City's 7,220ft altitude but believes they can adapt and perform well.
