Emmerdale star Georgia Jay quits soap role

Fans won't see Emmerdale actress Georgia Jay return to the ITV soap, as she's chosen to focus on being a mum. Jay, who played Steph Miligan, joined in November 2024, but her character's final scenes aired in 2025 before her maternity leave. She welcomed her daughter Noa this year and reportedly finds a full-time soap schedule impossible right now.
