Travel in London faced major disruption on Tuesday, with the Elizabeth line part-suspended and severe delays across much of the service. A defective train at Paddington led to this, resulting in the suspension of service between Abbey Wood and Paddington. Earlier, a crash on the M25 near Gerrards Cross had closed multiple lanes, leading to 45-minute queues.
