eBay Settles $56m Stalking Lawsuit With Bloggers

eBay and several former executives will pay $56 million to settle a stalking lawsuit brought by Massachusetts couple David and Ina Steiner. The Steiners, who ran the EcommerceBytes newsletter, said eBay staff sent live insects, a funeral wreath and a bloody pig mask to their home in 2019. US District Judge Patti Saris dismissed the case Wednesday after eBay admitted the conduct was wrong.
